Remembering Paul Dickerson

Paul Dickerson lived at the Hope Hospice. We first got to know him in 2005. He is pictured with Jessica Middleton(picture taken July '05). The hands of God and medicine were helping him live life with the HIV. He found out that his family didn't want him to come home during the fall of '05. It broke his heart. Paul died February 23, 2006. This will be the only place online to bring a tribute to him.

What do you remember about Paul Dickerson?

Paul was a man of LIFE! I appreciated his smile, kind words and for allowing Jesus to shine thru his life. I only hope to model life and Faith in Jesus as well as he did. I have heard it siad Jesus came to deliver us from our self-conscious and to deliver us a GOD Conscious.
Paul was God Conscious.

Friends Forever!

Paul Dickerson was a loving man as i watched him on the friends Forever TV hearing him sing and that touched my heart so much and Paul is in the better place now called Heaven thats where we want to be after we died and be with the Lord. That is sad that he is gone now and the Good Lord having Paul Dickerson up in heaven with him. Despite Paul Dickerson Physical appearances. He was a man of life. Even though he knew his days on the earth were numbered, he spent his time at the hospice with his mind set on eternity. I know that he encouraged so many people who knew him.. Lived with him.And visited him. Although we miss him in here and now. we have joy of seeing him again, WHOLE and WITHOUT PAIN. praising our Father. Friends FOREVER!!!!!!!!

The web site, and this BLOG started as "I love Jamaica". Why? Because it was to love one person at a time. You love the nation, one person at a time, just like Paul. I miss him.

I taught Paul, the Toby Mac song, "Love is in the House." I will long remember the joy when he sang, and seeing his hands going back and forth, right to left. I believe, as my dear friend Ed Blount says, "...we're getting people(Paul), ready for Heaven..."

Now Paul is added to a long list of many friends forever from Hope Hospice, who left this world, since 2002:

Ann Marie McMorris;
Dayleah Forbes;
Roy "Jazbar" Coop; Elizabeth "Christmas Elf";
Jean;
Arold;
Noel;
Ritz Carlton;
St. James;
Clive;
and so many more.

Paul knew God would keep "the back door cracked..." There might have not been a place other than Hope Hospice to live, during his last days on earth. But, Paul has found out, "...in my Father's House..." there is love, forever.

Paul, I went by your empty bed on March 8th, I miss you.

Paul was singing songs with his friends at Hope Hospice: As he would sing it's as if his circumstances and surroundings melted aways. Part of me is sad that he is gone, but i know that he will never experience sickness or rejection again....

May God Bless Dr Mark, for saying prayers to Paul Dickerson?
