I had been on previous mission trips to other countries, but it is through the Friends Forever trips to Jamaica that I feel God has changed what my previous ideas of missions were. He showed me that missions is an everyday lifestyle, not just a week-long or month-long trip to another country. It's about showing people God's love by loving them in tangible ways, it's doing and not just saying, it's about taking the time to really get to know who a person is and showing them that you care, it's about giving your entire self and not just a part. If you are going to Jamaica, or any other place, remember Who you are representing and think about what He would do for every person that you come into contact with. Look for ways to reach out, look for ways to bless others, look for ways to love.
